Interesting sound... if you have a cheap pair somewhere try it, sure bass is impacted negatively below 150hz but almost everything else is yesssss, also nice to be able to hear whats going on, whats really going on around me

id like to be able to enjoy music while i refinish/sand floors. (i do about 15 a year with my work)   its a pretty noisy job, would active noise canceling headphones work or do i need to diy/custom build myself a pair of really isolating headphones?

Shure e2c purchased for $20 because the original cables were cracked and intermittent,     thought id give new cable a shot? (salvaged from some other unwanted *cheap* headphones)   the work was not too bad, to hard or to small.   and they now work perfectly  !!  :)
