Mjolnir 3 is no longer a space heater, but as far as an audible difference not really. Maybe a whisper more clarity, and that I am chalking up to the fact that I am trying to find a difference. I tried 3 headphones I use regularly /w tracks I listen to often.

Mine has been a space heater for a few weeks now, so I guess that is long enough that if any differences are audible I would be able to notice them. lol

Are there any power cables leaning up against the interconnects? Depending on shielding and sensitivity of the equipment that could contribute to the issue. BT can also interfere with the audio signal as well (I turn it off if a DAC has it). The wireless phone charger might be an issue, but...

I hear you, the only reason I got the silver Bifrost was because it was at a discount on B-stock. It should be a nice pairing, as others have said that Mjolnir 3 benefits from a more capable DAC.

Are you getting the Arya first or the Mjolnir 3?

I went from the Sundara to the Arya as well (V3) when I was looking for an upgrade. It is kind of the next logical step if you like Hifiman headphones. Congratz on your new cans! If you ever want to upgrade the cable I recommend Corpse Cable.

I have my Atrium 2024 LTD (canare) on order as of late last month, and the last update I got was that they were heading to machining. So it will probably be a few more weeks until I have them in hand. I will post picks once I get them though.

If you are running them through the balanced connection then it should be more than enough to power them. Horizon is way more efficient than his previous offerings.

Lol, that would certainly outperform my Gjallarhorn mono blocks. Yeah, Starry Night is similar to a speaker load, so I can't see how that wouldn't sound good. You won't have much play with the volume pot though.

Yet I like my Arya V3, who would figure. Granted it took 2 cable swaps to get them sounding just right to me. The MJ3 did make an improvement on top of that vs my Burson Soloist 3xp /w supercharger.
