Symphonium Titan - Impressions and reviews
Titan on R4 works pretty well; especially for something that small (that isn't a dongle connected to your phone) I don't have one yet but have tried and do intend to get one p.s. it also works pretty well for Helios and Singularity- Mattyjm

Will get back to you on that (unless someone else tests first). My brother said he's getting the R4, I'll borrow it to test with the Titan.- I lack sleep

Symphonium Titan - Impressions and reviews
Does anyone here have the hiby r4? How do you like it with the titan? I am thinking of getting my first dap (since the ipod classic) and seeing it on Chad's list as well as the price has made me curious :)- CJ_CoCa

NEW HiBy R4
...with the gears I already have. It is pure none sense the experts don't even do their homework on what people already own and use. I consider the ipod shuffle the starting point of the very basic bottom of the barrel performance and feature as compared to recent releases. I know, it's too easy.- Ynot1

DT880 32 ohm vs 250 hm
This was measured using ipod touch which has 32 ohm output impedance, right? Was this caused by the damping factor? I don't hear the ringing.- andnej

iPod mini (1st gen) trouble
Sorry to hear that friend, I use an ipod nano now and again and it can really be infuriating. I've never experienced my nano not booting but I've definitely had to reset it a few times when plugging it into a new pc (only wiping music if between 2 windows pc's) but if I want to use it with a...- Grom781

iPod mini (1st gen) trouble
Hmm, I'm in trouble. My PC environment is Windows 11. When I connected my iPod mini (1st gen) to the Apple device app on Windows 11 to change the environment for my iPod mini (1st gen) from Mac to Windows, a message appeared saying "Unsupported format. Please format." So I clicked OK to the...- Taka0302

The discovery thread!
I was sorta thinking about getting an android “iPod” like this r4 for work because I don’t want to use my iPhone at my job… this looks kinda thick and heavy though so not sure it would be too pocketable.- jbfps116

Review by 'jeromeoflaherty' on item 'FiiO M23'
...my development iPaq and listening to it on a plane with headphones on a trip to London. It was a revelation (this was a few years before the iPod was launched). I immediately went looking for devices with more storage. Fast-forward a few years, and I had an Archos DAP with a ‘huge’ 10GB HDD...- jeromeoflaherty

Earbuds Round-Up
Welcome to the flathead earbuds thread! :) What is your budget? What type of sound signature do you enjoy? Do you have a preference in types of shells? These are fairly important questions because there is a huge variety of buds that you can choose from. Having said that, the first set that...- samandhi

What is your budget? And what source are you using? As some earbuds need amplification for optimal sound: ie they can't be powered from weaker devices.- baskingshark

Look! MOONDROP's First HiFi Smartphone, MIAD01
Yesterday I set up this Sony Xperia as my DAP for my TWS. My reasoning for using a cell; 1. Usually cell phone will have stronger antennas than DAPs. 2. The Sony sends in aptX Adaptive and LDAC. For Bluetooth purposes that is all that is important for a player, in terms of hardware...- Saraguie

LG is a very large company. Therefore, their numbers are probably gonna be a lot larger to make it makes sense for them to offer a phone. Moondrop will just be fine, I could afford for this to be a throwaway DAP that just happens to double as a backup phone.- stacey

...amazing quad DAC phones that still blow many dongles out of the water despite the fact that they vanished from the market due to the lack of interest. I'm afraid this device will follow the dinosaurs the same way as said LG phones and all kinds of other great devices like the iPod Classic. drftr- drftr

I can imagine the device will be very late with security patches as well... I wouldn't want to use a phone that's too dated in terms of security updates. One can live without feature updates, but for a connected device which will house lots of personal data it's another story. But well see! I...- C_Lindbergh
