EL39 never fail to please and keep it in the adapters to prevent accidental dislodging of the top caps from constant capping and uncapping. Some superglue on the top cap helps too.

Sometime ago I say that my last tubes will be Mullard EL38 and GEC 807. :relaxed: I have them now and probably will stop. Getting 6BG6G will require another set of adapters. I have enough tubes and adapters. There will be no end. RCA 6L6GC, Brimar 6L6G, WE350B... I don't have to chase these...

I agree. All of them are unique but I am enjoying GEC 807 now. Don't know why it wasn't in my radar until now. The ATS25 is a lovely sounding tube. The texture is silky smooth.

It don't matter because I have no adapters for it. It's the 5B/254M that I'm interested in. Eventually I will have to get adapters for just one pair of 5B/254A.

5B/254M are in great condition. Metal base !!! :relaxed: I'm so eager to use it but the adapters are not here yet. Btw, Langrex already replied to my mail about the white getter flash and they will send a replacement. How very prompt. They will get 5 stars review from me.

EL84 is the baby EL34. Right after EL84, I'm listening with EL34 metal base now. This could easily have been the best of the Fab 4. :relaxed: It's a EL84 with more bass and more body. Just as I was listening, 3 pairs of tubes arrived from Langrex.
