Man, I wish more HP manufacturers would understand this simple fact. Sennheiser made the HD650 headband like that for a reason way back in 2003. Certain headshape types (me included) easily develop a hot-spot on the top of the head. Many HP makers seem ignorant of this fact.

Aregina's measurements seem to suggest this needs a few firmware updates to fix a few issues - like an ANC downgrade from MTW3?

Shure SRH1540 is another HP with Alcantara pads - no idea how those hold up.

Head-Fi really is the maddest of all hi-fi forums out there. Looking forward to people actually getting these in their hands and on their ears so the discussion can be about actually tangible matter rather than all kinds of imaginations.
