Hi, I'm looking for a good desktop microphone, to pair with my HD700's. I'm worried that the sound from the headphones might end up leaking into my mic, since the HD700's are open-back headphones of course. Please tell me if I actually need to worry and also recommend some desktop mics please...

I tried, and it actually does!!! I didn't think it would work, but *******, it does, but is the audio quality worse in this way? Or does it not even matter?

I don't know if it matters, but I have the edition where the O2 and the ODAC are combined into one small box, with only a mini usb port and two outputs for speakers (L/R) I don't really know what you mean by the analog input.

Hi, I own the jdslabs O2+ODAC combo and the HD700 Sennheiser headphones. But I was just wondering, since I do play a lot of games on PS4: How do I connect the Amp/DAC to my PS4, as there are a lot of ports on the front and back of the PS4 and there is also an aux-port on the front of the PS4...

So, now, after quite a while, I finally got the HD700's and O2+ODAC. It's just so awesome!!! When I tried it for the first time with my own music I fell in love with it again!!! I'm happy with my first small audiophile setup.

Oh man.... It looks quite good, but is it better? It seems to be more for gamers than the o2+odac though and that means the o2+odac might be better for audiophiles...? I don't know, correct me if I'm wrong. If it's actually better I'd buy that instead

I will probably go for the O2+ODAC, based on the replies I got in this thread. I can't recommend anything to you because I don't know a lot about AMP/DAC's, so hopefully someone else will reply to your question.

If I buy the HD700s for €500 at amazon.de, will I get all the support and service that you usually get when buying a product? Or not?

The HD700s are at least one of the top-comfort headphones, that's something I'm sure of...

I mean that I was so sure that I should get the Hd700s, but on that other page, people say so many things to make doubt about my decision.

What if I pair the O2+ODAC with my kenwood amplifier (which also has a tuner)? Will I be able to use the Kenwood's tuner? And will it only use the ODAC as DAC and use the kenwood's amp instead of the O2?

Would you go with Normal or Low gain?

  That really depends on how loud the Normal one is, is it like that loud that you almost can't listen to music on a low volume? Or is it still possible to turn the volume down quite a bit?

Also JDSlabs is known for their great Customer service, am I right? And by the way, I don't know what 'gain' is on an amp, at JDSlabs you can take Medium - 1.0x, 3.5x or Standard - 2.5x, 6.5x or Low - 1.0x, 2.5x. Which should I select when buying 'em?
