Hi,

I'm looking for a good desktop microphone, to pair with my HD700's. I'm worried that the sound from the headphones might end up leaking into my mic, since the HD700's are open-back headphones of course. Please tell me if I actually need to worry and also recommend some desktop mics please. I don't know what I'm gonna pay for a mic yet, but let's just say, if it's not too expensive, I'll be happy. Don't hold back on telling me a tad more expensive options though, I want to know what's good, even in high price-ranges.

I've used Sennheiser HPs in my Ham Radio hobby for years with no feedback problems, ever.
 
I use Heil mics.

I use a ModMic with LCD-2s to great effect. Open headphones have never been a problem according to those in my chat channels .
