Grado G cushion - genuine Grado product purchased from a hifi retailer, not a generic copy - I tried a cheap version before buying these and there is a big difference in interior cone height and foam quality. About a year old, used on my GW100 (also for sale) but can't have seen more than 20...- onocentaur

Spotify + crossfeed
I don't know what the Venn diagram for Spotify users and crossfeed lovers looks like, but if anyone is in the intersection then voting for this Spotify idea would be appreciated!- onocentaur

Heed CanAmp
I demoed the Canamp at my local hifi store today (only headphone amp they stock), with my RS1i's. Great looking, sonically basically a nice amp, nothing particularly special though. It had a slight background hiss. Nice warm sweet mids; deep punchy bass, a bit fuzzy though. The weird thing was...- onocentaur

Where is the Earmax?
Okay, I've now got an Earmax Pro (black and chrome version) First impressions are very positive, the sound is very nice. However, I have noticed a slight background hum. This is present at all volume levels and the same with or without input attached, and the tubes have had plenty of time to...- onocentaur

Well, there's the input selector switch; then the DAC settings switches which I recognise from the Symphony; Crossfeed settings and mode; and a 'tonal balance' switch - what does that do??- onocentaur

replace my RS-1 with GS-1000?? a dillema
The GS-1000 is quite a different beast from the RS-1. It's also very picky with amps, I don't actually know how your amps will fare - hopefully a bit of searching the forums might yield some impressions. I think it would be quite easy to be wowed by the soundstage with the GS-1000 at first...- onocentaur
