Taobao is like Ebay. L300ltd is really similar to l700 even before changing the pad, it's fine if you don't want to change it.

You can get a brand new l300ltd with the price of $500 from China (like Taobao). And I recommand you spend more $130 to get the ear pad from l700.

It is surprising to realize that the pad actually affects the sound of D9200 dramatically.

I try in a reverse way. I have a adpter that allow my Kse to use Stax amp. I have try it on d50 and d10, they work perfectly and even sound better than the original amp.

And you can play DSD if you use USB adapter.

A Lambda instead of Omega is maybe more suitable for d10,

Work with l300ltd in a relatively decent level (the amp part is slightly better than srm-d50), perfect with kse1500(which I believe beat the original shure amp).

If you are not in a hurry, maybe you can wait for stax new IEM. I asked one Stax stuff and he comfirmed that stax is working on a new IEM BUT the shape of the new IEM doesn't change a lot and we have no idea about when it will be released.

What do you think of l500mk2? I prefer l500mk2 more than l700mk2 becasue it has a more balanced sound than l700mk2.

And I think l500mk2 is a more insteresting option, it's sound is more balanced and the price is more reasonable though I bet the price will come down.
