If Denon is really going to eliminate all these vendors from selling their products, more power to them. In this economy, people (including me) will more on to another brand. Good luck with that.

I think it was Crutchfield that said they were discontinued. I've never purchased anything from them, but they've been around a while.

I saw on one website that the D1001 has been discontinued. Anybody heard anything about the 1001 being replaced?

I've been checking everyday for a month waiting for these cans to be in stock but nobody has them. The black model or the silver version. Anyone seen these anyplace recently (without paying $40 or $50 more than you can usually get them)? Thanks! Brian
