That does make sense. It looks to me that the earcups on the HP151 aren't as nice as the original 770s so can you recommend any replacment pads?

I use the USB adapter with the Cloud 2's but I have a FX-Audio Dac-X6 amplifier that I believe would be strong enough to power the 770's. Over the 770's and the HP151's, you would recommend the HP151's?

Do you think that the 80 ohm version would be a good pair of headphones for gaming? Does the bass in that version overwhelm the other frequencies?

I currently have HyperX Cloud 2 Headphones and I wanted to get an upgrade. I was wondering which headphones would be better for me since I mostly play games and listen to music. I'm not looking for a perfectly flat studio sounding headphones.
