Okay, I'll try the mod you suggest. Maybe it's just my ears, or maybe my descriptors are wrong... I'm very sensitive to the 10-12kHz region (4-5kHz not that much, when I adjust this region on EDC Pro, vocal/guitar clarity seems to be affected but the "wispiness" is still there..likewise if I...- XerusKun

Little update on the EDC Pro. I've been circling around my library for the last few days using the EDC Pro, changed tips and cables etc. I noticed that there's some weird wispyness in some songs specially the female centric ones. Example are these tracks: Little Forest - Nagi Yanagi Reply -...- XerusKun

Nope though I'm also curious about the Libra Bal, my last KZ set before EDC Pro is Duo/D-Fi, for D-Fi I don't really like the sound of that set, everything is cramped and upper treble lacks energy and isn't that smooth, plus bass is just "okay". I won't say EDC Pro has neutral mids, for my...- XerusKun

Just received the EDC Pro and holy deer the bass on these are insane, very tight and impactful at the same time. There's some coloration in the vocals but I can tolerate it since the bass are just that precise yet fun. Mids are okay, not really the highlight of these IEM, but amazingly even...- XerusKun

Instabuy and its only $5 in my region so its a steal. I've been waiting for EDA Balanced successor for many years, plus they seem to fix the 5kHz region which make guitars spicy at times. I also miss some thick midbass/warmth in my music, Nova just doesn't do it for me for the bass, though in...- XerusKun

In some sense the hate is also the product of how a specific KZ "rep" approach other reviewers that critics their product. And that "reviewers" take became its own echo chamber. What I don't understand is when some manufacturer did what KZ did, those reviewers are silent, but when its about KZ...- XerusKun

Nice views. This takes me back to a time where I'm simply stunned by one of KZ's single DD IEMs. That IEM is the EDA Series (specifically the Balanced one), first time hearing the EDA Balanced I was speechless, I cannot take them of my ears due to how clear they sound and how female vocals pops...- XerusKun

If you find that removing the filter fixes the problem, its better to a buy a replacement filter or just leave it as is (but there's a chance of wax build up). If you find the glue residue remove them and just return the original filter back using tweezers, align the filter on the nozzle. I...- XerusKun

Try to remove the filter if it will change anything. Use needle or tweezer (if possible). Check for any residual glue on the nozzle.- XerusKun

Nice nice EQ good! Though let me help you discover more sound signature. Currently, this is what your EQ looks like. If this is done by ear, quite nice, I'm quite amazed that you've reduced the peaks. Your EQ definitely sounds better, no doubt. Though as an experiment, let us follow one...- XerusKun

Yeap, I'm curious what will happen if an impedance adapter is added to this IEM, looks like it has the infamous 1kHz BA boost like the AS16 Pro etc.- XerusKun
