Just saw this review and fully agree. The genius earpads are the only thing I'm missing from my K812.

Just a proof of concept - works with Qudelix. Now I have to ask my friends if one of them has a 3D printer for the banana plug.

I bought one of these leathe pads some time ago. Did not like them. Way too much bloated bass. I don't remember the problem, but I did not like the sound at all. Soundstage was gone. The fit is horrible compared to the original pads (I did not find a phone which better fitted my ears)

I am mostly using my Sennheiser HDVA 600. Its adjustable gain (14dB, 22dB, 30dB, 38dB & 46dB) is mostly set to 22dB and the gainknob is at 50%. I am very happy with the presentation. I also use a RME ADI-2 PRO with auto gain. But I have to pump it up to -3dBFS. Might solder a Y-cable sometimes...

Shure it works. User manual Pt 17. Modi 👍 At the moment I feed my ADI-2 pro with USB from my iPad Mini. Optical to my active speakers. There is hardly anything the ADI-2 pro can't do.
