    Awesome, thanks.

    LG V30

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure that when it comes to devices released, say, after 2015, the "limit" is really not a real thing. The hard cap is given by the kind of SD card you can byu (atm, 400gb can easily be found, 1tb should soon be released on the mass market), not by software...

    LG G7 ThinQ DTS-X

I see that there still isn't a G8 thread, so I'll ask here. In my part of the world only the G8s will be released, which is a slightly downgraded version of the G8. Now, i've read on one website (an Australian one) an article from late February claiming that among the downgrades the G8s also...

[FiiO M3K] Probably the Most Cost-Effective Hi-Res Music Player, Discrete HiFi DAC Chip, Supports up to 384K/32B

My bad, I don't have it anymore and I could not check. It's not in the patchnotes tho...why? Editing my post accordingly.

Nothing has been even said about the abysmally slow scrolling speed problem. I've sent back my M3K for thisi ssue, and I see i did well, since no fix is in sight. It would be a fantastic little device, if the UI was up to speed with 2019.

    LG V30

Guys, it simply means the the sonic footprint of the V30 lacks flavour when it comes to percussive nuances of its aural delivery, probably due to variances in the atonal polarity of its transceivers.

    LG V40 ThinQ

I'm not a "I want the bleeding edge smartphone" kind of guy. Indeed, it would be my first "flagship" kind of smartphone ever (I'm a cheap Xiaomi kind of guy). I'm only buying them for the audio quality, and the rest is anyway an upgrade as compared to my current phone (battery excluded, I've got...

    LG V40 ThinQ

Thanks a lot. I remain very tempted by the v35 tho... Everything is more appealing to me. Does anyone know if when ordering from Amazon.com towards the EU I'll have to pay customs when I receive it or not?

    LG V40 ThinQ

So, I’ve just read the whole thread (I’m exhausted!). Now the question is: where I live there’s almost 400 euros of difference between a V40 and a G7. Is the V40 sound signature 400 euros better? Truth is, the ideal model for me would be the V35 (battery, OLED, 6gb ram) but I’ll be damned if I...

The announcement I am more keen to hear: "Firmware updates for all out existing models, dropping today!" A man can dream.

Elsewhere I had people doubting that I was doing things correctly. So here's a video demo of the problem I was talking about. FiiO reps, I hope you'll agree with me that this is really, really unusable. What if I am walking around, or driving, and I'm looking for a specific artist?

I can tell you what I have: currently using my M50s with it (plenty of juice to drive them, I can't even go near max volume), and have recently ordered some TRN V80 (very cheap from Aliexpress atm...)

[FiiO M3K] Probably the Most Cost-Effective Hi-Res Music Player, Discrete HiFi DAC Chip, Supports up to 384K/32B

My music is organized in folders, and every single song is tagged. But even so, my "Artists" section has over 1000 entries. I could tag those into genres? Sure, but that would be days and days of work. I'm not sure why I should do that when I never had any problem with any other previous DAP to...

Exactly. It's taking me almost 2 minutes with a 400GB card. What's gonna happen when I buy a 1TB one (probably some time in 2020)? 4 minutes of scrolling to reach a "Z" artist?
