Well, I pulled the trigger on a Lyr. I couldn't resist the attendee discount. Now I need to pick out some headphones to go with. I'd be interested in your impressions on what worked well with the Lyr. The LCD-2's sounded great, but that's more than I wanted to spend.

The Lyr had plenty of energy, both musically and literally, but I wouldn't call it overly bright or warm. It was fairly neutral to my ears.

The LCD-2 sounds great with the Lyr. I just listened to the combo yesterday at the Norcal Headfi meetup, as I'm sure did K3cT.
