It is 2019, Phillips Fidelio X1 is kicking better than last year. Bigger number of hours, better sound. Music is more engaging than my Sennheiser HD600 via cheap amplifier. I am even using the stock cable. Happy New Year Headfiers! More power Philips Fidelio!

Philips Fidelio X1 is showing musical goodness plugged in simply from my Motorola Moto X Android cellphone. Simple yet satisfying. I think adding Audioquest Dragonfly USB in between those two will make the music more satisfying. However, this setup is very good and enough already.

Fidelio X1 is fun and musical, not analytical. This is an enjoyable headphone. The last time I remember this was with my Grado SR60 - simply enjoyable, very easy to drive and rocking plus its price-best bang for money!

Valiente's Advice: Never try to judge Fidelio X1 on its first few hours, you will be disappointed. After 50 to 100 hours of playing, it is the best time. Beautiful music flows from Fidelio X1 after great number of hours played already. Let the drivers loose first. Now, I am loving my X1.
