I have considered this, but I want to be able to output balanced (2.5mm) and I don't want to be running a USB cable, or risking Bluetooth interference. Plus, I don't want the drain on my phone's battery.

I would like to ask about the Pioneer while I'm here - I've heard good things about the XDP300R, and it supports offline TIDAL. Anyone think it's a better option than the Fiio or the Onkyo? Cheers :)
