Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Yeah, I tried them. The guy behind the counter kept trying to look up 'Ultra Tone', he said he never heard of Ultrasone. I was very disappointed.- travel200

Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Does anybody know a store in the NYC area that has Ultrasones out for testing? The only place I've found is B&H, and they only have the HFI580. I want to test a few more. Thanks.- travel200

Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Hmm, the portable amp may be a little more than I want to deal with on a daily commute. Would I be able to do without one if I got one of the HFI models?- travel200

Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Thanks for your help. I won't mind commuting with the bigger Ultrasone headphones, I have a pair of Bose (horrible) right now and they're no bother. I was thinking something from the Pro line because of the detachable cord and the solid carrying case. I figure the carrying case will help...- travel200

Ultrasone Fan Club! (Roll Call)
Any thoughts on which Ultrasones would be best for listening to music off my Blackberry while commuting - I listen to all kinds of music, from of today's pop/hip-hop, rock (both current and from the 70's & 80's), underground dance, contemporary, Broadway. I guess I do want a little bass kick...- travel200

Ultrasone HFI-580 vs. Ultrasone PRO 550
Which one do you think would be good for someone who enjoys bass (pop, hip-hop & dance), but also likes 70s & 80s rock and also some contemporary music? HFI 580, 680 780, or PRO 550, 750? I would mainly be using them out of my Blackberry. Thanks- travel200

Things that make you go hmmmm! Thanks, those seem to get good reviews, and look pretty cool as well. I was also told that the Ultrasone Pro 750 might be a good choice for my needs as well. At first I was becoming a bit overwhelmed with all of the choices, but now I'm getting excited...- travel200

Thanks for your help. And yes, I definitely do not want open headphones since I will be using them on my commute. I also don't want bass monsters, so maybe the 680 or 780 would be a better choice for a varied selection of music listening.- travel200

New Guy Advice Needed
Thanks for the help. I suppose if I didn't like such a wide variety of music my decision would be easier! One final question, I've seen a lot of reviews praise the Ultrasone 580, but I see they also have a 6 and 780, and a 2400 in the HFI line. Should I consider one of those over the 580...- travel200

New Guy Advice Needed
Hi all, I'm looking for a little advice. I currently have an old pair of Bose over-ear headphones (I guess they are the AE1). They're falling apart and it's time for a replacement. I use these strictly for my daily commute on the train off of my Blackberry -some days I do work, some...- travel200
