I thought that was the whole point of customs. Getting a perfect fit? What kind of issues did you have just out of curiosity? 

Yeah my pc doesn't run bf4 the best. I have to put all settings on low to get 60 fps. And my graphics card is/was pretty good. ATI 6950. New consoles run bf4 pretty well it seems. Bf3 looked so bad on xbox 360 but bf4 looks like its running on high or maybe even ultra settings with 60 fps. 

I doubt you will be able to improve on the soundstage of the HD650s by anything noticeable. I thought sennheisers were renowned for good soundstage especially in gaming. My 595s are excellent and Sennheisers seem to get very good reviews in Mad Lust Envy's Headphone Gaming Guide.

PC. Battlefield games are best on PC imo. I don't get kicked from games that often, maybe once every 3 hours. But I also didn't own the game till months after release when it had been patched many times. Also the netcode was pretty bad at first but is a little better now. My loading times are...

So much this. I wouldn't pay full price for BF4 till they get more of the bug ironed out. I got it for 25 bucks on black friday and that's all it is worth imo. Way too much crashing, I have never ever had that issue with another game that wasn't a beta or something. I bet in a year or 6 months...

Does anyone have any recommendations for a highly durable headphone in the 30-100 dollar range. Pretty much every iem i have owned has broken in 6 months of daily use. My solution to this problem seems to be to recable my headphones and use stronger cabling. Perhaps not the best or most time...

I played competitively with halo and I would agree that you don't need "surround sound" to do well. Quality headphones like Sennheisers on 2.0 sound will do you just fine, other factors are of course way more important, like overall skill. You get plenty of 3d info from 2.0 headphones.

Battlefield 4 is my fav recent shooter. The campaign I havent even played because that is not what battlefield is best at, multiplayer is where its at. Bioshock games are fun, the shooting is maybe only ok but the mechanics with the plasmids makes it fun. Also the art style and story in those...

I use my he-400s now. I used to use HD595s or astros but the astros are super uncomfortable and not very good in general and the 595s lacked on bass. Especially for explosions.

So I have had 3 pairs of ue500s break in the past 10 months. Pretty lame imo. When is someone going to a truly durable IEM? Detachable cables are going to be a must for my next purchase.
