Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
Yeah, I know. Just wondering if I can cut out a teeny weeny bit of background noise in the office. I thought some muff thing might keep most of the benefits of open back while not being much bigger than a normal headphone.- tpat

Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
Has anyone tried some type of ear muff/cup thing over these? I'm curious if there is a way to get a tiny bit of noise isolation while using these.- tpat

Getting EQ to work properly on my iBasso DX320
Wavelet is only a graphic EQ, however Poweramp EQ can do system-wide parametric EQ. There's a 2 week trial and then $2.49. It was really nice when I tried it. Very slick interface.- tpat

Another thought, this thing runs Android, yeah? You could just use Wavelet which applies the EQ system wide.- tpat

Hey! It's me from the i4 thread. You get no sound when all 7 are applied, right? Do you get any sound with only 1 filter?- tpat

Thanks! You hit the nail on the head about the feeling that it's going to fall out haha. With the mod, the hooks feel less fiddly once it's on the ear. Also, I just caught up on your thread about the cipher cable. If you're looking for EQ adjustment on your iphone, I highly recommend the...- tpat

Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
Glad to see the community is still active for this lovely, underrated headphone. Okay so I meant to post this like 2 years ago, but better late than never. I had this idea to combine the stock ear hook with the stock ear fin. The ear fin's weight get leverage at the bottom of the ear notch...- tpat

Audeze LCD i4 TOTL In-Ear Monitor Discussion
How much power should I be supplying these with realistically? Audeze has listed >50mW as the minimum power requirement and 500mW RMS as the maximum power handling on the spec sheet. Strangely enough, they don't list the recommended power level like they do with other headphones. @Audeze can...- tpat

No, this isn't a convolutional eq profile, it's parametric. The vdc file goes in /storage/emulated/0/Android/data/com.pittvandewitt.viperfx/files/DDC It'd be neat to have a convolutional one, but I don't know how to go about making that.- tpat

Here is the vdc file of Audeze Reveal I mentioned that you can use with viper4android or jamesdsp. I also included the project file so it can be edited in an app called DDC Toolbox. https://www.mediafire.com/folder/qi9e2m33xjlls/i4_Reveal_VDC- tpat

They are different target curves. The Harman curve is what Wavelet uses. I'm using the target curve Audeze sets through their Reveal app. They shared the variables for it online and I just made a .vdc file of it to use for these Android apps, which need root.- tpat

Also, I don't recommend the fiio eq. It is 10 bands, but they are fixed frequencies. If you're on Android, get wavelet because that uses parametric profiles to match to the Harman curve. If you're using a rooted Android, you can use jamesdsp or viper4android which let's you use parametric or...- tpat

I've been using the btr3k unbalanced and it's been pretty great. I don't have anything to compare against besides the Bluetooth cipher, which is a bit lacking in power. Though the Bluetooth cipher on the iSine 10 was as good as wired to me.- tpat

Audeze iSINE 10 & iSINE 20: Audeze releases two new IEM planar magnetic earphones
I invert the tips, put them on the nozzle, and then tape the tip's base onto the nozzle. Using a heat gun to warm up the adhesive helps. Not sure if spinfits are any different.- tpat
