My amp looks like $5, but it cost me $220.. my scl4 looks like $50, se530 looks like $150 since it is shiny~~~

I donot like the custom series. I had custom 1 before..sounded horrible to me... I suggest UE 5, you spend more, but you get more joy in your life.Think it this way, nobody wants to hear the bad sounding music from an IEM...

I had kinds of high, and mid-end iems, but they were all sold except my se530. se530 is not the best for all the performance, but it gave me the unbeatable sq.

it looks like sa6 ti me.. I just don't want to waste money trying a mid-end iem...

I have a se530 as well but I am sure that adding an amp w/ALO makes your sq better I am using se530, a mini to mini cable, an impendence cable, ibasso d2 boa(upgrading to rsa hornet) although the difference is not a big deal, you can find the improvement as soon as you start your music

I had the same problem from my scl4 I changed the nozzle, but still. at the end I sent it back to shure and I got a new,free replacement from shure. I think it might be the problem from a loosing driver in the unsound side.

As you said, it seems you need an iem has good anylysis. I suggest er4s. if you want more vocal, scl4 and pfe are both you can consider. I had both before, I will say scl4 is better when it is amped. If you can spend more, go for ue10. or westone um2/w3
