HD 600, LD MK3 and E11
I have had HD 600 for three weeks. However, I can't find quite a big difference when it's powered by either MK3 or E11. Both sound very good. I actually prefer E11 to MK3 sometimes since HD600 with MK3 sounds quite a bit warmer compared with E11. Anyone has the similar...- tonyleonhart

Quote: Well, to make their products thinner, that's probably the incentive and also, making money at the same time. I agree that lightning port is a push-foward of technology, but meanwhile, at a price every customer has to pay.- tonyleonhart

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Quote: I have never listened to WA series. I suppose they are pretty awesome amps, of course at a decent price. I love the look of WA7 BTW. If I were you, I would just order little dot mk3 for the sake of price. I actually talked to Mr. Yang (the guy who designed the little dot...- tonyleonhart

Quote: What amp are you using. I ordered my HD600 two weeks back and I got Mullard 8161 for my Mk3. It's clearer, more detailed for mid-low compared with the stocks.- tonyleonhart

Apple ipod touch 5 -> lightning adaptor line-out ->E11 -> ER4S and HD600. I hate using the lightning adaptor, but that's how it is. From the tear-down, I do see it's using a better DAC (Wolfson something) compared with my previous broke Ipod touch 4 (Cirrus Logic) It...- tonyleonhart

AKG K 702, sennheiser HD 600, Beyerdynamic DT 880 [Review]
Quote: Yeah, I guess you are right. I will keep both for a while then. HD600 is pretty much used when I am alone in the office with E11. DT880-600 has to be used at home anyway since E11 can't drive it well at all.- tonyleonhart

Sennheiser HD 600 Impressions Thread
Quote: Little Dot MKIII, Line-out from Titanium HD. I guess you are right, it's not apparent or kinda vague. Of course I am not saying there is no detail. Maybe I am just used to how these detail-oriented headphones like ER4, DT880 sound, switching to HD600 is a big step of change in...- tonyleonhart

I love the naturalness and warmth of the sound, but really not a fan of the lack of details.- tonyleonhart

Actually this is my first thread after lurking for a long time. I just got my DT880 600ohms today and I am quite pleased with it. I had HD600 for probably half a month and wan't impressed by the lack of details at all. But I do like the natural sounding and the feeling of being laid back...- tonyleonhart
