In case anyone is close to pulling the trigger on a speaker amp and needs an adapter cable, I'm selling a custom female 1/4" to banana plugs brand new from BTG Audio. I have it listed in the sale forums, message me if interested.

So maybe I'm missing something...but I've got my setup (minus the pre amp) and the volume gets to about 11 on the emotiva..with my source usually around 90-95%.

How does everyone think the E12 would perform with the HE-500's? I predict that I will want to travel with the 500's and NOT bring my entire setup....I've heard the E12 is ridiculously powerful

I'm listening to the HFI 780's...and they are decent for vocals and metal. They sound great, as they are a clear upgrade from the M50's...less muffled because the bass isn't taking over the song. Any more recommendations for femal vocals/metal headphones? In the 200 price range.

I'm switching between both as I type.    There is a very noticeable difference between these two headphones. When listening to any of the genres you mentioned, the M50's sound muffled in comparison to the 780's. The bass in the M50's is ridiculous..sometimes in a good way though. It does...

I had a uneducated question earlier lol here is a better question:   What's the easiest way to connect the 500's to the Mini-X until I get my female 1/4 -> banana plugs from Brian? I'm for connection under 30 bucks just to hold me over. 

I know this has been answered, but there are so many posts that it would be unreasonable to search through them all to find my answer. Anyway, is it PERFECTLY okay to plug my 500's into the headphone jack? I won't be receiving my DAC for about a week or so....but the Mini-X will be here in...

How reputable is Micca Store? I've never heard of them. 

Would anyone know a specific date of release? Or at least early/mid/late march?
