I was considering getting the Hook X as my 2nd IEM to compliment my Matte Steel Katos. I was told Moondrop is releasing one and was told to checkout forum. I hope they do a cook body. That's not painted. The design is is important too me also

I'm really looking forward to it, I doubt it's going to be over 300 price range, to make it competitive. But I agree it definite will need to stand out and I think a hybrid would be fab

Kato come with the same Ear Tips, it is a personal choice. It depends how the fit and feel in your ears.

Try spinfit 240 i love mine also. If on Android use Wavelet EQ and select Kato in AutoEQ

I'm loving my Katos had mine a week, if u want s. Good fit in ears. I'm using Spinfit 240 on mine. They see the double ones. Give a great seal and great Bass , if your on Android check out wavelet EQ the AutoEQ has Kato listed do works fab

Kz cable will not work, you need a standard 0.78 2 pin cable. The plenty good Blutooth adapters on AliExpress

Definitely not there yet, I've had Sony and Galaxy Buds in the past. But I'm Absolutely loving my Katos. I've got BT 5.0 neck cable that Supports Ldac etc, with 22 hers play back. And having Wavelet EQ on Android is must.
