ae9 all the way. the option to change the opamps is a game changer. Trust me i have both the ae5 and the ae9. if you dont plan to change the opamp go with the ae5 and save some money

Your picture is correct. I replaced them with all vivid v6. I actually enjoyed them alot more over the stock opamp. It really open up the details in music. The effect are most noticeable on cymbals. The clarity and detail are amazing compared to stock.

Buy the kit Burson offers 2 single and 2 dual opamps but you do have to add the extensions to the cart manually. So worth it. The kit price is cheaper you have to dig through the site it is listed I believe for the old sound blaster zx9.

Sounds like you have a dying battery. One of the reasons I hate all wireless headphones and the non user serviceable battery. You spend all this money on a nice pair of cans and they become disposable after the battery pack dies.
