Out of curiosity, how does this amp compare to the Audiotailor Jade besides being less tubey? How would you describe it in words sound signature wise? -JC- theScribe

REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
As I said, excellent service. Joe has agreed to send me a new cable as a replacement. It's a great piece of equipment. On another note, about the cable, I'm not truly a cables material believer, so does the extra spaciousness and instrument separation come from the balanced configuration...- theScribe

REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
By all means, the Jade Amp is excellent. I love it and the two flavors of sound I can select depending on music or mood. That said, the Balanced Cable improved the sound (I'm not a cable believer, but I do believe this "balanced" configuration makes a significant difference) by giving it much...- theScribe

REVIEW: Audiotailor “Jade” Vacuum Tube Headphone Amplifier
Hey guys, I been using the Balanced Cable for about a month and today the connectors (under the earpieces) finally gave way and the soldered point in the + and - wires snapped. I was having problems with the connector head being loose (comes apart every few days, have to push back together)...- theScribe

Stylus came off my Benz M2 Wood Phono Cart
Although not as bad, join the club. I just got my first turntable and when I initially set the Music Hall MMF5 up with a Goldring 1042 cartridge up, it sounded like crap. Much worst than my digital setup after two hours of painstaking alignment and figuring out how to set it up. Then I tried...- theScribe

Image X10, Bass buzz on one side
Hi guys, I been enjoying the X10s for a while now. On my second pair after the first pair started ripping. The second pair that Klipsch sent me has been used for 3 months now, the tail of one pair is starting to show signs of splitting. It's no big deal, but the thing that's been bothering...- theScribe

MMF5 Coming My Way, Need Wisdom!
Hmm, I compared to a FLAC track and the vinyl version. Track: Nick Warren Underground Paris - Audioglider - Zusammenallien. The Vinyl version had anemic bass response. Very flabby and uncontrolled. FLAC on the other hand thru the same amp was tight and controlled. What could be the...- theScribe

Got the TT setup! VTA alignment and getting those darn screws in took me over 2 hours. But in the end, it's so worth it. Giving it a listen now and I'll give impressions soon! -JC- theScribe
