if it had to be for music, i'd get recording equipment...mixer, some good omni condenser mics etc.   if it could be for anything...i'd take the mrs out on a date and save the rest. money's tight these days.

Simple question: I'm currently turning wood to make my own headphone cups but I'm not sure how to make identical shapes, short of using a CNC lathe. For those of you with turning experience, how do you match the shape of one object to the other without using a duplicator?
