I've not really got anything more to say, but I'm not a headphone hobbyist. I looked for some excellent, comfortable and accurate headphones that were well priced that I could use all day at my desk. I found them. Now I'm spending all my time using them instead. They are superb.

Another thing I've noticed is that I have never heard the very high overtones produced by a good organ recording so clearly as I have with these headphones. Also, with more adventurous stops choices, you can pick out some really interesting and weird timbres.

I've been toying with Oratory's eq profile for the NDH 30s today, and I like it very much. Brings a little more brilliance to Kevin Bowyer's traversal of Bach's organ works, which are in heavy rotation at the moment.

I really wish I could get a really short cable that terminates in a standard female 3.5 jack so I could easily switch headphones while using one standard cable.

Anyone here experimented with EQ with the NDH 30s at all?

I haven't had the pleasure of 80s Fall on them yet, we were covering the last few albums in the show so it was Sublingual Tablet and New Facts Emerge, which I really enjoyed revisiting if you haven't heard them. Very different to Hex, obviously, but Smithy had bile to spare even at the end...

As an amateur recorder player, soprano to bass, I can empathise with that. Bach wrote some wonderful flute work, and recorder work too. Did you ever take a look at Telemann? His Fantasias for solo flute are incredibly fun to play.
