Like putting padding material inside to reduce treble. They use polyfill and dynamat sound deadener materials for speakers, so it should work the same for headphones.

Is the headband self-serviceable, or does the stitching prevent from the headband from being undone non-permanently?

I don't think there are by mods for the HP150 specifically, but there was one for the HP100. You could try that I guess.

Not sure, I'm pretty new here. The reason why I joined Head-Fi in the first place was because of all the cool mods I see on here. I'm sure you should be able to find some for this or any other headphone on here if you search for it.

You should just modify/dampen your pair to bring down the treble instead of buying an expensive amplifier to do that.

This is probably a round about way of doing things, but if you could just figure out a way to reduce the the bass and treble, then the mids would become more present. I'm a noob here though, so I'm not sure if you could just do that or if things even work that way.
