    Four replies doesn't lend confidence that many here would be interested. I'd love it. Anyone reading this thread 15 years later, I suggest you go to gearspace. And I'm not sure why, but I love their layout more than Head-Fi's.

    I ordered some AKG K712 on ebay for £175($260). They come from Hong Kong, will they be fake?

    Late response but thought I'd add. I got some open box AKGs from an eBay "From China" seller. Since they were a duplicate pair of what I already had (the old pair had a tearing cable), I could compare them A-B, and they sounded exactly the same.
