Oh, for crying out loud, that was the problem. I was testing without headphones plugged in. I'm not sure why that makes a difference, but once I plugged some in it magically started showing MQA. I'm not sure what's going on in those circuits, but thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

It shows "MQA" on the screen? I did give it direct access to the DAC. And as I said, it's working fine on another USB DAC.

Just curious if anyone has compared the K9Pro ESS to an iFi xDSD Gryphon? The base abilities look the same (output power, etc), but does having dual amps and dual DAC chips in the K9Pro ESS make it a lot cleaner sounding? Wider soundstage?

I saw a couple of folks that had both the Gryphon and the Go Bar; now that people have had a chance to try both, how do they compare? I know they're targeted a bit differently, but I was curious if the Gryphon is heads and shoulders above the Go Bar or if the Go Bar holds its own pretty well...

My desk is large enough (and cluttered with enough cables) that it won't make a difference. Right now with the M17 I have a USB cable, power, and power cable for the stand (which is required, it overheats when I forget to switch it on). So, I'll be decluttering, technically...

Definitely would like to see MQA hardware support. A small indicator (OLED like the BTR5 would be nice, but indicator lights would be OK as well). Analog volume knob would also be nice, but I understand that might make it too bulky.
