    Good earplugs?

On the market today for regular day to day use the ety's are probably the best. If you are looking for longer life or use while sleeping/riding a motorcycle get yourself a set of half jacket style sleep plugs. You do have the muffled effect but they are hugely more effective and comfortable than...

    new westone customs?

Crud. I have very sensitive ears, and my current westone based er4-p molds are your standar vinyl. Not that they are not comfortable, but they dont fit as well as they should since they have to err on the side of less pressure. Was hoping for a super soft type material without a sound quality...

    Small ears (ear canals)?

Save your money and get a custom set. Mine are small and sensitive, nothing out there is "comfortable" and you can actually hurt yourself pretty easily. Customs are not cheap of course, but if you want an IEM and have small ears they are the way to go. Check out my posts for a review of...

Westone custom mold for ER-4p - review (style no 34)

I am a very picky listener. I want flat and neutral. The simpler the design the better and so far so good. I get great, natural/flat bass all the way up to perfect highs. No crossovers, no odd phase crap. Yep, I am happy so far. They were totally awesome on my last plane trip as well. Was...

Westone custom mold for ER-4p - review (style no 34)

between 80-90 each pair since I used formula 2 for each one (harder is better for very sensitive ears). That includes the molding and office visit.

Westone custom mold for ER-4p - review (style no 34)

So far so good. The sound quality is pretty much awesome, without the overloaded bass of so many. Comfort is pretty much spot on. There is no pressure in my ears, yet the molds are solidly in there. At the same time as I had these molds made, I had two other pairs made. One for plane and loud...

Custom IEMs - Advices for Impressions

open, biteblock. most of the ear plug manufacturers suggest this now. How much will depend on your doctor and you. Just tell her/him how you would like this to fit. Also stick your finger in your ear (just a bit) to feel the change open to closed. Some people change a huge amount, others not so...

Westone custom mold for ER-4p - review (style no 34)

Here you go. BTW: since this are formula 2 and not octoblast they are very hard (in comparison at least). They do not take time to fill up your ear, at least not for my ears. Just put em in and play a bit on the bottom to make sure it is fully in.

Westone custom mold for ER-4p - review (style no 34)

So here is the "package" The plugs The hole for the er4p. How they mount together Left Right The reason I went custom. While it is pretty much impossible to tell from a picture with no reference, those ear canal parts are pretty darn small. My ears have...

    ER-4P vs ER-6i

Back to back I would say clarity is increased and definitely bass definition has been drastially improved. The sound is also much more open and real.

    ER-4P vs ER-6i

Don't worry, this isn't another person asking which is better. I finally made the switch, and seriously, it is night and day. The ER-4p right out of the box is hugely better than the 6i, which is no slouch either. I am extremely happy with the decision to switch up. The er-6i will still be my...

So it looks like microcenter doesn't carry the 4p. Does anyone know of any other stores that might carry 4ps? Don't want to cross post so if you have a pair and want to sell them TODAY in northern va, let me know Yeah, I looked on the website but only microcenter is listed in the area. I am...
