repairing ultra thin internal driver cables on hd 25?
Its aluminium wire. I heard that means I have to use aluminium solder with it too? I have managed to find some guy selling a pair with a damaged driver for cheap enough anyway but it would be worth trying to fix up damaged ones. I can only learn from it.- stemcd89

Yeah it's definitely the voice coil cables. I've heard of people soldering them but it's meant to be a very tricky job! Looks like I'll have to replace the driver at this rate, bollox. thanks for the reply.- stemcd89

repairing ultra thin internal driver cables on hd 25?
So, is it possible, has anybody had to do it before or something similiar or should I cut my losses?? there the amperior model so the drivers are hard to come by and I'd probably have to buy a pair which is about the same price as a new pair of headphones, stress. Any help would be greatly...- stemcd89
