I recently bought M50xBT. I noticed that there is a mild static noise when the headphone is connected to a phone via bluetooth and when no music is playing. It would be great if someone could confirm this mild buzz or static noise on bluetooth when no music is playing.

I had exactly the same reaction when I heard several of the IEMs (ex800st, xb90ex, TFZ 5, Z5) on that list. Then I learned how to use an amp with an equalizer to make them bass cannon.

I also noticed an excessive boost at around 10 kHz and I am sensitive to that. Check it at http://onlinetonegenerator.com/frequency-sweep-generator.html. Comply tip tames it a bit. A wide bore tip (e.g. spiral dots) shifts the boost to around 8 KHz and I am fine with that. I do not see any...

I received a new es100 from Amazon yesterday. I charged it overnight. The Android app shows that the remaining charge is only 73%. Is this normal?

I tried a bunch of foam tips including Comply, Veritas, Znari, and Rebound. I found Rebound Comfort Foam Tips 4 mm to be better and longer lasting.

Comply reduces the punch and slam. White silicone tips increases slam. Blue nozzle reduces treble hotness quite a bit.

I have never experience the vacuum issue that you mentioned, so I cannot comment on that. Xiaomi Hybrid has more bass than FLC8S (red-black-blue), but less bass than carbo basso and wooduo 2. I never tried MDR-XB50AP, but Xiaomi Hybrid has significantly less bass than amped xb90ex and ex800.

Try Rock Zircon. Also try Xiaomi Mi Hybrid (dual driver) for slightly less but quicker sub-bass.

I do have carbo basso. I am using shure olive foam tips (had a bit of trouble in fitting them) and deep insertion. Big unamped sub bass with nice clarity and sound stage. With shure olive tips I get same isolation as my ER4P. I own a bunch of IEMs (including V-moda Vibe Duo, Etymotic HF3...

With spiral dots, did you get a boost in treble---I want to avoid that?  I will be happy if spiral dots only boost bass.

Just wanted to check again if anyone could help me to find a vendor who sells the stock tips.
