Yes - worst build quality I've ever experienced on a headphone, hands down, especially for the cost. That's why I purchased a back-up pair. I treat them very gently when I am putting them on and off. I do think they are very comfortable and light weight.

Glad you like them! I think they are very underrated on this site. They feel like a hidden gem to me. I have found that all Ultrasones benefit from burn in. I think Ultrasone even recommends 200 hours. I think they just bring EDM to life.

The X doesn't require much in the way of power and actually sounds really good plugged directly into my laptop so what you're using should be fine.
