I wouldn’t necessary say it sounds like an HD650. To me, on ears will never sound as full as full size headphones. Full size headphone has deeper cups more space and larger drivers. HD 650 is less colored but the esw9

Yep, it sounds like you would enjoy the HD650. Just get a good amp and dac along with it and you won't miss that much with others like HD800 or T1.
