No 45 support. They would require different transformers.- SonicTrance

My mentor, MrCurwen, tought me very early that tubes are just another component. Use components for what they do best and you'll get the best results. I have a 2A3 Telemachus in the queue. It won't get built for a while though. I'm ok, just need to take it easy once in a while, lol. Yep!- SonicTrance

Thanks for all the comments guys! =) Copy paste from my website: Telemachus is a SET 300B amp. It uses a 6SN7 cascode input stage followed by a MOSFET source follower, or “grid driver”, that drives the 300B grid. The output is then a traditional series feed output with high quality output...- SonicTrance

It's finally done! I'll take some "real" pics of it maybe tomorrow or so. This version has the Monolith transformers and fixed (manually) grid bias for the 300B's.- SonicTrance

I chose the regular S11’s. So, 5k load impedance to get a flatter load line and less distortion from the 300B’s.- SonicTrance

Thanks! They’re hooked up to the output so they show the output level. Mostly for looks. They bounce to the music lol. Just means you connect the sub to high level output (speaker jacks)- SonicTrance

Yes, managed to do the impedance switch yesterday and test listen. Just used cheapo tubes but works as intended and sounds great! I’ve set my switch to 4 and 16 ohms as my speakers are 4 ohms. Just need to hook up the speaker jacks and high sub out jacks. Then hook up the VU meters, calibrate...- SonicTrance

That is correct! But is somewhat delayed because of transformer issues (again but not Monolith this time). But mostly because I need to slow thing down a notch. It became too much stress for me to first work 100%, have time to workout, hang out with my girl and also push one amp per month. So...- SonicTrance

Unfortunately, due to some health issues it’s going to be somewhat delayed. It’s mostly done but as of now I can’t really work on it much.- SonicTrance

You can try 250V @ 35mA is see how hot it gets. The adjustable regulator FET then needs to dissipate 21W. It has plenty of heat sink surface area so should work fine. My recommendation is settings I know work long term. Running tubes “by the book” isn’t always ideal either. Those settings are...- SonicTrance

If you wanna make it real easy for you then start off by setting the negative grid bias as much below zero as possible (around -60V to -70V and adjust the B+ where you want it. Then plug it the tubes and start turning the grid bias knobs while watching the meters. Make sure you flick the meter...- SonicTrance

What you need to take into account is that the front panel is 10mm thick. So you need a long threaded light holder. Mounting hole is 8mm. Disconnecting it is really easy as well. Just cut one, or both, of the wires that runs to it. Be sure to insulate the ends when your done as to not short a...- SonicTrance

I’m sure there are plenty of options. The mounting hole is 8mm. Get a 12V LED. Personally I like white as it’s cleaner looking. My reasoning for a pilot light is I like to know instantly when I flip the switch that the amp is ON, and not have to wait for the tubes to heat up.- SonicTrance
