    its a little late for this, but I found a solution that doesnt look bad if you do it right. i took the ear pads of of some cheap Sony MDR-ZX100 ZX I broke, and duck taped them on carefully, so you camt see a difference. it was so much better. also, I found out if I twist the ear cups a notch...
