This is a sad thing.   On the other hand:  -my 8 year old starts to use a fountain pen at school. -This may compensates your post  - I got my LAMY 2000 back from service for a €55,- they replaced the nib and "ink channel system" after I dropped the pen by letting it roll off my desk because...

Oh, I am sorry you may got my posting wrong: I do not think this is an outlet store.   It is more a brick-and-mortar-advertisement flagship store.

Wennebostel! I like Sennheiser and it is only a one hour ride from my place but Wennebostel that is "at the world's ass" as we say in germany (google translates to: "in the back of beyond")   I like the idea of a factory outlet shop for Sennheiser but a flagship store is something to be opened...

How do you backup your music?

Yes, keeping data offsite is a good idea.   Anyway, I am sticking to a command line solution with XCOPY and the /V option -to have the copied files verified!

I do not think you are totally wrong: there may be a lot of voodoo and autosuggestion in hifi cables and I am sure I am not free from it. Additionally I am a cable DYI so I am engaged in “cable sound”.   With analog NF interconnects I am 100% aware that there is an audible difference from a €5-...

Review by 'skimminst' on item 'Audioquest Forest Digital Coax RCA-RCA 75 Ohm'

I am using the Forest cable as a replacement for a simple 75Ohm video cable to connect my CD player to an external DAC.   One of the main reasons to choose an Audioquest cable is the cold welded connection from the cable’s conductor to the plug what physically reduces reflections. So I was...

Pen-Fi (FPs, RBs, BPs, etc...) [56k Warning]

Well, I am using Waterman's "Havana Brown" ink: It is very smooth and of ritch colour but takes some time to dry...   Luckily I have a Lamy AL-Star (broad nib) in coffee brown finish what makes a great match to the ink.
