Why i changed my opinion on Custom IEM (CIEM) + Tips
Some were able to refit albeit not perfect, just "good enough" to seal and be comfortable, and some were not salvageable and had to be rebuilt entirely. I can usually tell if it can be fixed by conventional refit or if it requires a rebuild. The easiest is when something is too tight cuz you can...- Sifo

Why i changed my opinion on Custom IEM (CIEM) + Tips
No it was inconsistent every time. Could be pressure points in inner or outer, could be left side loose, right side, tight, whatever, doesn't matter, I've literally done over a dozen attempts since 2016 from a variety of different audiologists in both Toronto and NYC at different clinics who...- Sifo

Why i changed my opinion on Custom IEM (CIEM) + Tips
exaggerated chewing historically best method for me and the only one that produced 2 perfect molds including my fitear, vs literally over a dozen other tries of varying methods including relaxed/closed mouth. entirely personal ear shape, environment/circumstance on the day of, and of course up...- Sifo

The person at the table I was talking to noted that I had listened to it for quite a long time, which is rare for me to do at these kind of shows, so I must have liked it 😅 I'm not in the market for a portable amp right now but they're quite affordable so I'll think about it- Sifo

Used their Walkman IC to wm1z og (J region stock tuning), wasn't using a Brise cable but that would just add more boom if it was a Shiro lol. Was using FitEar 334SR as my main test IEM, but I've heard the Tsu v2 under a variety of different set ups and that amp has always been boomy, it's kinda...- Sifo

no completely packed and always had a line. I'll try it when it hits e-ear There's no denying it's a highly capable amp, the amount of power it has with how clean the output is, is certainly an accomplishment, but it's going to heavily depend on source/cable/iem synergy.- Sifo

2025 Headphone Festival Mini Spring (Fujiya-Avic) Really wanted to like the See Audio Kaguya 2 cuz I like the driver config and it's pretty cheap but I thought I heard some coherency issues. Shame cuz the treble was pretty fun, a bit lighter on the bass than I expected, vocals were solid but...- Sifo

Didnt read any of the material since I was super focused during the 10 minute demo slot, also slipped my mind to ask Suyama-san. I kinda just automatically assumed it was being manufactured in-house- Sifo

I too own a 334SR and it is one of my favourites, but sometimes I want something with a little more treble extension and occasionally crave the DD timbre. DC Ti fits that description quite well I'd say. BTW the Fitear headphone, projected 80-90k MSRP if I heard correctly, Fall launch. It sounds...- Sifo

The FitEar CIEM Impressions Thread
The question is idk how the K2 differs from the H1. Wasn't available to demo side by side and I hardly remember what the H1 sounded like. K2 would probably get fatiguing though but maybe ok as a custom fit. Had the same feeling with the Room2. Still, I'm most likely just gonna buy a DC Ti next.- Sifo

K3 is a 334 yeah. K2 is a K1 with a tweeter. Kinda bright and a bit bass light but really fun treble with fitear-like vocals. I might wait for them to recycle it on a different collab but I quite liked the K2 lol.- Sifo
