Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!
Ordered the K10U in the final hour of Black Friday. It arrived Friday via UPS but no one in to take collection as a small amount of import taxes needed paying. Therefore managed to get it Monday, 2 days ago. I have an IPhone 6 into a Chord Mojo with low res MP3 files from Spotify free version...- sheffsteel

Chord Mojo issue solutions thread.
I bought the Chord Mojo 2 weeks ago. Tried charging it up and nothing happened, it didn't appear to be charging. So I tried a different socket and this time it did charge. Not sure why. Anyhow after a few hours of charging I listened to the sound and was impressed, a definite improvement...- sheffsteel

Help me choose Portable MP3 with extras
Joshatdot said Sony A81* series have been flavor of the month (well almost 3 months). I have not listened to them, but I did not get one because they have a low output 5mW+5mW (10mW total), compared to the iA7's 26mW+26mW (52mW total). I've also seen the specs that the Sony is only 10mW...- sheffsteel

Best sounding mp3 player?
Have you tried your UE10's with the sony walkmans? No I haven't. I lent the Sony to a friend and haven't got them back yet. I'm keen to get my hands on the Sony to see how much the triple.fi's improve them. I think synergy plays a big part, some ear phones suit certain mp3 players. As I...- sheffsteel

Best sounding mp3 player?
There's no "best", it's all subjective. I originally had a Creative Jukebox 3 that I thought was good. Then I got the Creative Zen Vision:M which was OK but not quite as loud or as vibrant as the JB3. I heard good things about the Sony NWX-800 series so I bought one and I must admit I was...- sheffsteel

What's wrong with Naim..?
Naim did suggest I could see my dealer and they would probably offer me about £200 for my cds1 if I upgrade to the lower level cd player, about £400 for the middle level cd player and about £800 towards the upper range cd player. I really like the CDS1. It might not be brilliant in terms of...- sheffsteel

What's wrong with Naim..?
Kuma, I decided not to bother with vinyl years ago, mainly due to practical storage problems. CD's in wallet folders take up much less space. I've got about 1,200 cd's and about 20 vinyl albums so there's no point in getting a Linn Sondek. My big worry now is with regard to the cd...- sheffsteel

What's wrong with Naim..?
Tev, I also find the Naim sound addictive. I don't know what it is but there's so much emotion in vocals and percussions/ rhythms are fantastic. When I was younger I attended many hi-fi exhibitions with demo's of Krell, Mark Levinson, Linn, Arcam, Rega, Kef, B & W etc. The American...- sheffsteel

Returned my iPod Nano 3G !
My previous mp3 players have been Creative Jukebox3, Creative Zen:M and the Sony NWZ-816. I've been using Shure E4c's for the past 3 years. I liked the look of the Ipod Nano 3G so decided to buy my first Apple product. I must admit I do like the style, presentation and facilities of the...- sheffsteel

Which Remote for iTouch?
I understand the Roberts ROBI DAB/ FM remote works as a remore control for the Touch (it generally works fine with my Nano 3G) Although be warned, it seems there are some bugs that need sorting with a firmware update (may have been recently sorted, not sure). The common bugs on the Roberts...- sheffsteel

triple fi 10 pro versus e4c?
I have been listening to the Shure E4c for the past 2 years. Was thinking of upgrading to the Shure SE530 but after weeks of reading forums etc I decided to go for the Ultimate Ears 10 triple.fi. I opened the box 20 minutes ago. I remember when I first listened to my Shure E4c and was...- sheffsteel

Is an Ipod + portable amp the best?
Wow, this is a busy forum. Thankyou everyone for your input. It's interesting that people have such varying opinions regarding the SQ of the ipod. Some say the latest ipod classic is poor and others say its the best ipod so far for SQ. IpodPJ I take on board your comments about the...- sheffsteel

Sony, best sounding MP3?
The Sony 808 spec looks really puny I admit, but it's more powerful than the Zen Vision:M I tried for a few days, and the Zen has way higher specs. I've learned not to take too much notice of the figures, because they don't seem to match what my ears actually hear! To get the same volume level...- sheffsteel

Sony, best sounding MP3?
I've spent a few hours listening to the Sony NWA818 in the last few days. I currently own a Creative Vision:M. I agree that the Sony NWA818 does sound very good through my Shure E4C's. I had a quick listen using the supplied Sony ear phones but these were a little quieter and more muffled...- sheffsteel
