    The wm1a pushes 260mw @ 16 ohms balanced and 60 mw on single ended, if you want to use them w this dap I recommend using the 4.4 connection.

    Idk about the d90, it's a dac, not a headphone amp. The ka3 that I think is on sale can drive the XS to a good volume

    I kinda had that problem for some time too, at first I thought that something had gone inside the driver and was touching it, then I tried to unbend the headband ( I had bent it a litle to get more clamp) and it got away.

    I currently use my edxs w the ex5 and it can power it fine, also have the mt 604 to add that tube warmth, and it plays very well w certain genres of music.

    I took off the pad and cleaned that gap w a magnetic screwdriver and the noise went away, I think it was just dust. But omg I had a mini heart attack
