iFi audio NEO iDSD - The Performance Edition is here! (INFO: Post 837, Page 56)

Lovely how little support there is just less than a year of the product being on the market. Still awaiting the optional filter adjustments through firmware. Found this curious at the Download Hub (screenshot attached). It's only October 16 where I'm at and this update is marked for next week.

iFi audio NEO iDSD - The Performance Edition is here! (INFO: Post 837, Page 56)

About two weeks ago, there was a new 5.2 version of the USB 2.0 driver available at the Download Hub but now it's not there. Any reason for its disappearance? Should it be uninstalled and replaced with the 3.2? Also, any idea when we're getting the promised alternative filters?

Anyone see in the iFi Downloads Hub that there's a Bluetooth firmware update? The update requires Android to do it. Just completed it but I'm not at all sure what improvements have been made. Odd that the release date says "March 19, 2021" when I know it hadn't been there until recently...

iFi audio NEO iDSD - The Performance Edition is here! (INFO: Post 837, Page 56)

Just saw this in the iFi Download Hub along with the 1.35 firmware (but no longer the older firmware). Anyone know what this is about? I thought we were going to be given options on firmware as advertised in the first post of this thread. NEO iDSD – Firmware 3.18 Release date: April 01, 2021...

On another note, anyone know when these alternative digital filters will be available? I've only seen the 1.35 and 1.32 firmware posted.

Thanks, but since I figured it wasn't an uncommon issue, I figured I would post here to see what kinds of adjustments I could easily make without going through the support system. It's eye-opening to me that suggestions haven't been made by you, the official iFi account or anyone else. I realize...

Was hoping for others' input here. So, is this behavior uncommon then?

Anyone have suggestions for playing local MQA files, such as those samples available from the 2L record label, without any glitches at the beginning of playback? Am I the only one with this problem? My searching turns up no one else who also has this problem. Unlike playing Master tracks from...

    A beta firmware for M11/M11PRO/M15

Thanks! Well, it looks like Tidal's latest app update (version 2.32.1) supports the full unfolding. Verified myself. By 16 and 24 bits, I meant bit depth.

    A beta firmware for M11/M11PRO/M15

This patch won't install on my M11. Has anyone else run into trouble (couldn't parse/appears to be corrupt) and how to resolve this? Does the original 2.27.2 app need to be installed first? Also, with the patch, is the Tidal app passing along 24 bits rather than just 16 bits as I thought I saw...

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

Were you actually getting 44.1kHz and non-44.1kHz files to finally trigger the MQA indicator? And now, nothing at all? Playing back with Hifi selected rather than Master (to avoid software decoding)? Everything seems to be the same for me - still only 44.1kHz tracks as well as occasional...

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

So, I seemed to have sorted this out. A little annoyed that this didn't stand out to begin with. Right now, the MQA indicator only seems to appear at the top of the screen on the Tidal app on Android when the folded files are 44.1kHz (whether they unfold at 44.1kHz, 88.2k, 176.4k or 352.8k)...

[FiiO M11] Android 7.0, 2.5/3.5/4.4 Powerful Output, Exynos 7872, Dual AK4493 DAC chips, 3GB RAM, WiFi, Two-way LDAC

So, with just the Hi-Fi setting activated, Taylor Swift's new one is really only displaying 44.1kHz without the MQA icon next to it at the top? And you're definitely playing the Master version with the M icon next to the album and every track and not another version if there is one? On a whim...

Did you go into settings and the display area and activate the sample rate display?
