AD900 closed headphone equivalent?
I find the DT770 250ohm quite pleasant in compliment to the AD900. From ATH's line there's only two I can think of: A900ti and A950LTD (saw one in a Singapore store, Jaben). They dont sound similar to AD900, but IIRC they're quite nice in complement to AD900. Have you tried the...- sad_katz

Like my AD700's but WITH BASS?????
Good aural imaging for gaming with plenty of good bass ... I can't think of anything else besides the DT880, given you can amp them properly. Maybe the A40 amp can drive them. I own the AD900. They have good bass and more quantity than AD700 but might not suit your liking. Ever...- sad_katz

Thes wings is not the problem. Its the wires that connect the two cups together that are annoying some people. I haven't tried them myself though.- sad_katz

Help concerning AD900
I use the AD900 for both gaming and music and find the AD900 has lots of sound stage for gaming. I can't remember the soundstage of AD700 vs AD900, but the AD900 has accurate audio positioning. Very good for cod4 and CS. The AD900 also sounds real good for music. I recommend it, although the...- sad_katz
