The way people play on these differed. If you don't mind me asking, but how do you play on your Penrose and which ones do you have? Are you sitting from the couch or at a desk? I think people who play on these from the couch have more of a chance for the technical errors you see popping up...

Just canceled my order. After waiting for two weeks to ship and seeing that they don't work properly or as they should. If these have so many glaring issues Audeze should issue a recall and rework these. For $300 they should work 100% as intended! I hate these products that come out that are...

With my experience, I found external amps along side an external DAC (DAC/amp) always perform better than just using a DAC/amp combo alone. So, it's possible that even on higher end gear, such as having the TT2 as a separate DAC, you'll notice a difference by adding the GSX mini.

You should check out their LCD-1 model, it's a wired headphone and paired with something like the iFi Zen DAC or their Hip DAC, I'm sure you'll be taken to a different world. You can even start out with using the those DACs on the Penrose then go to the LCD-1.

Would anybody be able to help and answer an another question I have... Can the Penrose X be updated via Mac OS X, or is this headphone similar to the Mobius and requires a Windows based PC? Thank you.

From what I understand, the X-Box console has no Bluetooth and only supports optical and HDMI outputs for sound. Am I missing something about X-Box ability to output USB audio.
