Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Hello_ I thought I'd update my findings with HUGO TT2 and M-Scaler from my previous post when I though M-Scaler wasn't doing much at all. As I have (2) Amps playing through 3 speaker systems simultaneously I shut down (2) speaker systems and concentrated on the best Imaging Speakers I...

Hugo M Scaler by Chord Electronics - The Official Thread

Okay thanks for the response. I (briefly) tried an M-Scaler with my home stereo and switching between the highest upscaling rate and bypass mode with my A/V Server as a source, I couldn't appreciate any difference. There was a substantial difference from MOJO to QUTEST then up to TT2, so (I...

Hello: I have recently upgraded from QUTEST to HUGO TT2 and have a quick question- Is M-Scaler primarily for Headphone use? Thanks

Next DAC after Chord Mojo - upgrade?

I also started with MOJO as the main DAC in my Home Stereo then upgraded to QUTEST. As it was burning in I thought I was noticing small improvements but it was slow and kind of snuck up on me. After a week of use, it really came around. As a test, I put MOJO back into the system and...BIG...

"Official" MOJO Batteries are available here in Canada and are easily user-replaceable for $100.00 CDN although I personally don't need MOJO to be battery powered, ever. I've been looking for headphones that approach the sound of my 2CH Loudspeaker setup and the ARYA certainly hits that target...

Good review! I built an A/V Server with a modified Soundcard a few years back and upgraded to an external DAC (MOJO), which made a significant difference. I've used MOJO as my main DAC for my 2-channel loudspeaker system and recently upgraded to QUTEST. The MOJO now resides in my Headphone...

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

I use mine exclusively for desktop use and leave it plugged into a wall charger 24/7 (nearly 3 years later). I unplugged it and it ran for over 5 hours. A new battery is 100 bucks and easily user-changeable.

    Chord Mojo(1) DAC-amp ☆★►FAQ in 3rd post!◄★☆

Mine is just under 3 years old. It's been used as a desktop DAC exclusively and plugged in 24/7. A few weeks back, I pulled the charger to see if the battery was even alive in there and it ran (playing a Jriver Playlist) for 5-1/2 hours.

Interesting. It must depend on the system, placement and room it is in, as my findings aren't the same.

Yes, QUTEST provides more of what MOJO delivers with an even wider and deeper Soundstage in an Amplifier/Tower Speaker Application. My room is on the Brighter side, so the Warm Filter on Qutest is perfect for me.

Mojo and JRiver Playback Hanging- Solved

Hello: As above, my system was having issues during playback. I am using MOJO strictly as a Desktop DAC with an Audio Server, Amp and Towers. At seemingly random times, music playing from my Audio Server would hang JRiver 26, requiring a system reboot. To make a rather long story much shorter...
