Like new, no flaw or sign of use. Barely used and probably less than 50 hours in total. Have always been in the box.

Bought this pair a couple years ago to use in office, but never got a chance to go back to office. I'm happy with my IEM, so move on and sell this pair.

Don’t think it would make much difference for HD650. M9xx is not for power, but neutral, clear sound. It really shines with high sensitivity low impedance phones thanks to the extreme low input impedance and noise. If you want something different from what you have, I would explore tube amp.

How to determine the version from the device? Is the version printed somewhere? Thanks

The cipher version should come with two cables - cipher cable and standard 3.5 audio cable. If you don’t have the standard audio cable and look for one to buy, I have one brand new from Audeze listed on eBay now and can certainly sell it cheaper here.

FWIW, the open back version became available at Audeze website.

Bear with me, but I am still trying to figure out if my pair is normal on the volume, or I should return for an exchange. I used iPad mini to compare the volume btw the cipher cable and the standard cable. The sine sounds at the same level: With the cipher cable, about 50% of iPad max volume...

Never mind, I just installed the driver and update the firmware. Grace website lists it as v2.2, but it is actually 2.02.

Anyone updated to the latest firmware - 2.2? Any caveat? I am currently using the windows default U2 driver and it works fine, but it seems I have to install Grace driver to get the DFU app to update the firmware. Any other way? Thanks!
