I guess it depends what your after, on line competitive play or story etc... If its were for online co-op etc then the Battlefield franchise has always been very fun, especially if you get a couple of mates involved! Nothing quite beats rolling into someone's base in a black hawk with your two...

Cant help but plug Carbon Based Lifeforms some more, all their albums are excellent! Solar Fields also have some good stuff to offer, ummm who else.... Vibrasphere, H.U.V.A Network, Shulman. Theres also some really nice ambient stuff on the soundtracks of Gravity, and Oblivion I recommend those. 

I've used the sennheiser PC 360's for a few years now for gaming and they have been greatly reliable, mic sounds good and doesn't pick up much ambient noise, very sturdy and comfortable for extended (day long) gaming sessions!      ... oh yes, they sound great too :D
