    Hifiman HE400se

Has anyone heard both the China version and International version and can shed light on any differences (if any?) I know being in America not being able to get warranty on the China version is a deterrent to buying it. But they are so cheap, maybe it doesn't matter. Thinking of getting the...

Hello all, Up for sale is Campfire Andromeda, I reached out to Campfire to verify when these were made and the response I got verbatim was: *"These were produced in the late winter of 2019."* You know the reputation these have; they sound **super great** and they are completely worth the...

Audeze LCD-2C Classic - Impressions Thread

It blows my mind how many people think pre-fazor is the inferior or low-quality LCD-2. From my perspective, it's different strokes for different folks. Plus many people preferred the pre-fazor sound.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

I personally don't want to have to shell out 300 for headphones and mod them right away, so I look forward to a revision 3 or M1060 successor. Interesting to see how the M565 stacks against the M1060.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Thanks for your impressions luvmusic! What I'm hearing is that the M1060 is a slight step down from the 400i and not necessarily the "LCD-2 killer" that we all crowned it for - however, that's not to say that Monoprice can't make refinements and release something in the 400-500 range to compete...

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

If we're going DMS3 vs. Z, I'll take DMS3 all the way. Z loves to hear himself talk. Still, I'm 100% tuning in for his M1060 review, lol

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

For those having issues with the cable connectors, is it also not an option to kind of put tape around them?   I know that's not an actual solution, more of a literal bandaid, but what I'm also prying at here is that it sounds like that could be a potential workaround.   Something about that...

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

Well if Monoprice is smart, they will for sure revision the MMCX connections out if we complain loud enough.  As we spend more time with these let's keep that in the forefront, Monoprice is gonna need the push to give us what we want.

Monoprice Monolith M1060 and M560 Planar Headphones

can't wait for the reviews to roll in. I'm interested in how these would pair with my chord mojo. we need more comparisons to hifiman, audeze and oppo's planars. for weeks I've been window shopping used LCD-2s, so I'm pretty excited that these have entered the fray. bold prediction: people begin...

To Fazor or Not To Fazor?

I'd be interested in knowing this too.  Looks like you have the 2.2 Pre Fazor, how is it?

Audeze LCD-2 Fazor or pre Fazor???

It makes me uncomfortable too, how you can change the core sound of a product so much, call it the same headphone and not offer the older model.  I don't want to own the LCD-2F and think what could have been, but i also don't want to buy two ~700 headphones used either.

    Audeze LCD-2 Impressions Thread

And then everything I've read about Fazor vs. Non-Fazor is that the Non-Fazors are darker than the Fazor.... so how dark does dark get!?

Windows 10 -- USB Audio 2.0 class driver use with Chord Mojo

Hey all,   It might go without saying, but if your PC has optical or COAX you could use those instead, no driver needed :)   I know, it's like a "duh" answer but just throwing it out there.  I'm using a braided optical cable, no muss no fuss
