Review by 'RavenDog' on item 'WooAudio WA7 Fireflies'

Takes the edge off the Sennheiser HD800's thereby matching up well with them.  Great separation, silent background and low fatigue factor.  Not much to say that hasn't already been said before.  Very nice little tube amp.

Putting Together A Rig (amp, dac, etc.) Around The LCD-3's - Need Opinions/Suggestions/Recommendations

One month and one week for delivery on mine, arriving 4/17.  Seems to me, from your discussions, that you really want the LCD3 and the WA7.  If this is correct, I've found that if I didn't get what I really wanted, I would still want it after purchasing something else.  Apparently, money is not...

The All-New WA7 Fireflies from Woo Audio

Ordered mine on March 6th.  Checked a few days ago and Jack said probably the first part of April or "maybe" the end of March.

    WOO-HOOOO... WA7 "fireflies"!!!

I pulled the trigger on the WA7 plus the gold tips yesterday.  Had strongly considered buying it when it was first announced @ $799 but I thought nooooo...why not wait until it goes up to $999 and get the more expensive one.

    Sennheiser HD800 Appreciation Thread

Usually, when there's a sale like this on a normally fixed and highly priced item, such as the HD800s, it means a newly upgraded model is soon to appear.  And, with the somewhat recently introduced HD700s, it increases the likelihood, i.e., HD900. Plus the HD800's have been around for quite...

    Anyone ordered the Grace M903

I've had the Sennheiser HD800's and the M903 for a week now.  Have been listening to them with a MacBook Pro for 6 to 8 hours per day.  Great combo!  I like the smaller footprint and the portability of the M903 too.  Haven't yet tried the M903 hooked up to my stereo system and using it as either...

    Anyone ordered the Grace M903

Have an M903 and a pair of HD800s in transit.  Have been using Sennheiser 580s with a CDP/power amp which I enjoy but I am looking forward to moving up to the next level with the new equipment.  Haven't yet experienced the use of either of the aforementioned items.     Just after I ordered...

    Review: Violectric HPA V200 amp

Quote:   Thanks for the input!    So what plugs in to what?  CD player > DAC > V200 and then DAC > Preamplifier > Amplifier?

    Review: Violectric HPA V200 amp

So, when simply running a CD player to the V200 and plugging in the HD800, no DAC is necessary for improved SQ.  The same for when using a MAC or PC (with the optional USB), V200 and HD800.     However, when not using the HD800 in the full stereo system, the V800 will do it's job?   Are...

    Review: Violectric HPA V200 amp

Hello, I just joined.  I live in Austin, TX, USA...   I am in the process of ordering the V200 with the USB option from Lake.  In reading these blogs, I notice that many people have commented on the Optional DAC (not the V800).  Is this listed in the Violectric purchasing options?  If so...
